At the heart of Trolls & Legends, the Games Area is the place where people sit around a table, roll dice, draw cards, and tell stories. It’s a lively space designed for both the curious and the passionate, where people come to discover, experiment, and share a friendly moment.
The goal is simple: to make gaming a meeting point. You can come alone, with family, or with friends, settle in, chat for a few minutes with someone who knows the rules… and the game begins. No need to be an expert: here, the important thing is to have fun.

For this edition, the board game is particularly highlighted. The Games space offers a selection of modern and accessible titles that allow you to quickly jump into a game. Whether you enjoy party games, family games, or more strategic experiences, you will find tables ready to welcome you.
Rather than lining up boxes on shelves, we prioritize practice: the teams on site take the time to set you up, explain the rules, and guide you through the first rounds. The idea is to put discovery at the center, without intimidation or jargon, so that everyone can try something new at their own pace.
🧙♂️ Role-playing games: experience an adventure around the table
Tabletop role-playing games hold an important place within the Games Area. Introductory scenarios are offered to allow those who have never tried to experience their first adventure, but also to give seasoned role-players the chance to discover new worlds.
The atmosphere is meant to be relaxed: you sit around a table, embody a character, listen to the game master describe the world, and then decide together what to do. Role-playing then becomes a shared experience, halfway between improvised storytelling, theater of the imagination, and collective play. A great opportunity to discover another way to “tell stories” together.
🤝 Creators, publishers, illustrators, and game clubs
The Games Area is also a place for meetings with those who keep gaming alive throughout the year. Authors come to present their creations, publishers explain their universes and ranges, and illustrators give a face to the cards, boards, and game screens.
Game clubs are also making a return to Trolls & Legends. They animate tables, offer discoveries, and share their favorites. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet local associations, chat with passionate players, and sometimes find a future place to play regularly after the festival.
🖌️ Miniature contests and miniature universes
This edition also hosts a miniature contest within the Games Area. The dedicated space will showcase carefully painted pieces, detailed miniature universes, and a wealth of know-how around painting, staging, and lighting.
A major novelty: an official contest miniature will be offered for the occasion. It will be available for sale at various points of sale at the festival, so that everyone who wishes can participate on a common basis. 🧒 A space for all audiences
The Games Area caters to a very wide audience. Families find simple games that are easy to pick up and suitable for children, casual players can discover new titles, enthusiasts come to test new releases or chat with creators, and those who have never really played can take their first steps in a welcoming environment.
No need to know the rules in advance: on site, animators are there to guide you, answer questions, suggest games, and accompany you in your first games.
