The musical programming of Trolls & Legends 2026 is now complete. From Friday, April 3 to Sunday, April 5, the Main Stage and the Discovery Stage will host over twenty bands for three days of folk, metal, and music of the imagination at Lotto Mons Expo.
Friday: Gloryhammer kicks off
On Friday night, it will be Gloryhammer who will close the first evening of the festival. The Scottish Heroic Fantasy Power Metal band will take the audience into its crazy universe where intergalactic battles, evil wizards, and armored warriors intertwine. Founded by Christopher Bowes (also a member of Alestorm), Gloryhammer has built a unique musical saga that unfolds on stage with costumes, sets, and pyrotechnics. Fans of Rhapsody of Fire, Sabaton, or Powerwolf will be delighted.
Saturday: The SIDH and Kalandra, double headliners
Saturday will be marked by a double headliner that illustrates the musical diversity of the festival.
The SIDH will present its explosive mix of traditional Celtic music and electronic sounds. The Irish band has made the fusion of bagpipes, violins, and distorted bass its trademark. Their concerts are known for their overflowing energy and ability to make even the most reluctant dance. A sound and light show tailored for large stages.
Kalandra will bring a radically different atmosphere. The Norwegian quartet draws from Nordic folklore to create atmospheric and cinematic folk. Katrine Stenbekk's voice, the carefully crafted arrangements, and the lyrics inspired by Scandinavian sagas transport the audience to landscapes of fjords and mists. A moment of contemplation and emotion before picking up the pace again.
Sunday: FAUN for the grand finale
On Sunday, it will be FAUN who will have the honor of closing Trolls & Legends 2026. The German band, a major figure in European pagan folk for over twenty years, brings together period instruments (harps, flutes, nyckelharpa), tribal percussion, and male and female voices in polyphony on stage. Their concerts take on the appearance of collective rituals where the audience sings, dances, and claps. A perfect closure for three days of festival.
And also on the two stages...
Beyond the headliners, the programming offers great discoveries and sure values:
- Månegarm and Saor for atmospheric viking and folk metal
- MAGOYOND and its quirky metal cabaret
- Luneris for an electro-pagan trance
- Bardix le Gaulois and his Gaulish Techno (also in the after-party!)
- Lilith Max for her first performance in Belgium
- Sylvaine and her ethereal post-metal
- Barbar'O'Rhum for pirate Rock'n'Rhum
- Jolly Jackers opening the Main Stage
- Tabernis, Itinera, Blood Of The Green, One Shot Bards, Valar, Level Encre, Det Var, The Muddy States...
The Discovery Stage will highlight emerging talents from the folk and metal scene, while the Main Stage will host the most anticipated bands.
