Ankonn tells the story of a twelve-year-old girl dreaming of adventures, Agora faces the disdain of her own people every day. Only her father shows her affection and showers her with gifts, like the splendid medallion he gives her before the tragedy that will change her life... When assassins invade her home, massacre her family, and hunt her down to kill her, she owes her survival only to Thoorak, an orc from "The Brotherhood of Storms," passing through Havrerhum. Refusing to abandon her, Thoraak takes her aboard "The Lantern" where Agora will discover that the salty air of the open sea sometimes has the bitter taste of betrayal. Amidst secrets and violence, she will also learn that when the world has taken everything from you, you have only one option left: revenge. Woe to her enemies, for nothing and no one will stop her?
