16 December 2025

The Literature Pole of Trolls & Legends 2026 welcomes Fanny Caldin, Pome L. Desombre, Ellie S. Green, and Siècle Vaëlban with strong and enchanting fantasy sagas.

The Literature Pole of Trolls & Legends 2026 continues to reveal itself with a selection of female authors exploring fantasy in all its forms: oracular mists, rooted curses, supernatural investigations, and reimagined solar myths. Between emerging voices and already recognized talents, these guests embody the richness of contemporary Francophone imagination.

Fanny Caldin – The Arcana of Mists, the magic of cards and destinies

For the first time, Fanny Caldin, a passionate bookseller and author, is invited to Trolls & Legends. She comes to present her fantasy trilogy The Arcana of Mists, whose plot begins in Marseille in 1850. A young beggar, Pytha, inherits a mysterious oracle capable of opening the doors to another world, where dancing forms and thick mists shape an extraordinary destiny.Librairie Mollat Bordeaux+2Fnac+2

In this universe where the magic of cards shapes choices, omens clash with free will. Between desires, secrets, and passages between worlds, the trilogy weaves an enchanting initiatory quest that will captivate fans of atmospheric fantasy and tarot symbolism.

Pome L. Desombre – The Mark of the Cursed, sensitive and cursed fantasy

Emerging author, Pome L. Desombre joins the festival with her first novel, In the Shadow of the Roots, Vol. 1: The Mark of the Cursed (Big Bang collection).

A trained psychologist, she delivers a epic and emotional fantasy, populated by wounded but deeply human characters. Elemental magic, ancient curses, world trees, and heart connections intertwine in a narrative where nature, suffering, and hope compose a rich and sensitive tapestry. A new voice of French imagination to discover and meet at the Literature Pole.

Ellie S. Green – Silverton, Supernatural Project: supernatural investigation during the Civil War

Ellie S. Green returns to Trolls & Legends with a brand new saga after her pirate fantasy trilogy Steam Sailors. She presents Silverton, Supernatural Project – Volume 1: The Souls of the West, a novel blending history and the fantastic in the heart of America during the Civil War.

Voodoo magic, ghosts, occult plots, and secret missions intertwine around an agency specializing in the supernatural. The result: a thrilling supernatural investigation, dark and rhythmic, that revisits the western and the American Civil War from a decidedly fantastic angle.

Siècle Vaëlban – The Sun Cry, a solar fresco between shadow and light

Siècle Vaëlban also returns to Trolls & Legends with The Sun Cry, a grand fantasy fresco inspired by the solar myth of Akhenaten.

An author with sensitive and luminous universes, already noted with The Evening Star and Full Sky, she once again explores the links between humanity, inner transformation, and imagination. In The Sun Cry, shadow and light become metaphysical forces, both internal and cosmic. Between spirituality, survival, hope, and friendship, the novel offers a powerful and inhabited work, where light persists even in the heart of darkness.

The Literature Pole of Trolls & Legends 2026 promises to be a true laboratory of fantasy: prophetic mists, cursed roots, spirits of the West, and a devouring sun await you there. More announcements will further enrich this program in the coming weeks.
