Arthur DE PINS

Arthur DE PINS - Portrait d'un homme au sourire confiant et à l'élégance moderne.

Arthur De Pins, the creative mind behind the brilliant Zombillénium, makes his grand return to Trolls & Légendes with his new series Knight Club
Knight Club, the first volume of a duology, was released on December 5th by Éditions Dupuis. This work is praised for its bold and quirky approach, using the Crusades of the 12th century as a backdrop. The plot follows a determined blacksmith who recruits seven eclectic mercenaries to protect her village, offering a story full of cinematic references and unique humor!

Born on September 22, 1977, in Dinan, Arthur de Pins discovered a passion for drawing at an early age, drawing inspiration from classics of Franco-Belgian comics and Disney animations. After honing his self-taught style, he joined the Arts Déco, graduating at 23 with a specialization in animation and a mastery of vector art.
His professional beginnings saw him gaining experience in animation (Xilam), design, and publishing (Le journal Spirou, Bo Doï). He became known to the general public with his popular erotic-humorous strips Péchés mignons at Fluide Glacial.
The editor-in-chief of Spirou, Frédéric Niffle, captivated by a Halloween cover, then proposed that he develop the universe of Zombillénium. This series, set in an amusement park populated by real monsters, achieved immense critical and popular success, winning
notably a Fauve jeunesse at Angoulême in 2012 and being adapted into a feature-length animated film in 2017.

The author returns to the forefront in 2025 with a highly anticipated new album titled Knight Club, published by Éditions Dupuis. With this new work, Knight Club, Arthur de Pins embarks for the first time on a graphic novel, in two volumes and on an adult subject, while maintaining his humor and dynamic staging inherited from animation cinema.
