Itinera

Itinera is a mystical and modern duo that has captivated since 2022. Founded by Anett Horváth and Ádám Nagy, they bring together more than a decade of musical experience. Their unique sound fuses Hungarian folk songs with world music, ambient electro, and dark Nordic folk soundscapes.

Their music, rich in mantras and layered musical loops, is an invitation for the group and the audience to embark together on a ritual journey through trance. It aims to establish a mindset that encourages confrontation and acceptance of our dark side for a better world. This spiritual and sonic resonance earns them high praise in comparison to major groups in the genre, including Heilung, Dead Can Dance, and Eivor.

After their first EP, “Aurora” (September 2023), which opened the doors to the Czech Republic and France, Itinera confirmed its rise in 2024 with the singles and videos “Békélj meg” and “Csillag fénye, Holdnak fénye”. Winners of the Petőfi Nagylemez Program competition, they just released their first full album, “Kör”, in October 2025.

The duo is now performing on the international stage, from the Tallinn Music Week (2024) to the opening acts for The HU (Slovenia, 2025) and festivals like Floating Castle (SI) and Middeleeuws Winschoten (NL). They have also been invited to the prestigious Reeperbahn (DE) and Waves Vienna (AT) festivals, solidifying their place on the map of dark and mystical World Music.
