FAUN weaves sound spells where period instruments and modernity respond to each other with a rare intensity.
Why FAUN leaves a mark
FAUN has established itself as one of the world leaders in musical fusion, remarkably marrying medieval instruments with modern sounds. Since its beginnings in the early 2000s, the band has managed to create a bridge between eras, transforming archaic rhythms into global hits.
With more than a dozen studio albums to its credit, FAUN has conquered the heights of international charts. Their success is both critical and popular:
- Charts: albums like Pagan and Midgard have reached the 3rd place in the German charts.
- Awards: three-time nominees for the Echo (the highest musical distinction in Germany).
- Recognitions: the band has won a platinum record for Von den Elben and a gold record for Luna.
An extraordinary stage experience
FAUN is above all a live band. With over 1,000 concerts around the globe, they transport thousands of spectators into their universe, whether in the intimate setting of cultural venues or in the raw energy of the largest folk and heavy metal festivals.
Their secret? An enchanting combination of polyphonic voices and period instruments, carried by a decidedly contemporary breath. A mystical journey, full of energy.
News and recent highlights
The year 2026 marks a turning point: FAUN celebrates nearly 25 years of career, with a series of concerts across Europe. The band also continues to push the boundaries of its art with its latest productions:
- The album HEX (September 2025): a powerful thematic project paying tribute to powerful women (witches, healers, guardians of knowledge). This album shines with its international collaborations, notably with dark folk priestess Chelsea Wolfe on the track Nimue, and Turkish singer Fatma Turgut.
- The new single Drei Tage (January 23): the first new track since HEX, this single marks the kickoff of their 2026 world tour.
The appointment at the festival
