Askemåne

Founded in 2021 in Besançon, Askemåne is a Neo/Dark Folk band inspired by prominent acts such as Wardruna or Heilung. Originally composed as a duo, the project is today a quintet that combines tribal percussion and varied vocal harmonies (guttural, lyrical, alto). Their music offers a true shamanic and ceremonial trance, providing a spiritual and meditative dimension. Literally "Moon of Ashes" in Norwegian, Askemåne explores themes related to nature, legends and philosophy.

After the release of their first album Gravitasjon in May 2024, the band wrote a second album by the end of the same year. They are currently in the studio recording the new tracks in order to evolve their sonic identity. Praised by the media for its mesmerizing atmospheres, the band invites its audience on a fantastic and immersive journey. On stage, Askemåne transforms each concert into an intense emotional experience, transporting spectators from Franche-Comté to the Nordic fjords
