Do you know my Forthill saga?

My name is Vanessa Altmeyer, and I have been writing fairy tales since I was little. I am passionate about mythology and literature, with a preference for monster books and Victorian novels. I have always dreamed of creating a complete universe that encompasses all the fantastic creatures cataloged around the world, where they interact. Thus, Forthill was born!

A saga published since 2021 by a publishing house at the rate of two to three volumes per year, Forthill is getting a makeover at BoD with new layout, illustrations, and beautiful interior and exterior finishes!

To put it simply, it's the story of a girl who, after a major depression, returns to her native Scotland. Not with a light heart, as she will have to confront her mother: the village witch. As if that weren't enough, she finds herself investigating mysterious disappearances of young girls. The entire population blames supernatural creatures, but she refuses to subscribe to that.

After trekking through the Highlands and sticking her nose everywhere, she will be forced to recognize that this place holds more magic than she believed, and that the legends are not as imaginary as they say...

To date, the saga has 8 volumes, 4 of which have been reissued in the new format. To the audience of trolls & legends, I intend to share all my passion for the fantastic and make dreamers out of the big kids who stop by my booth with a magical immersion in my witch's workshop!

And because I am committed to promoting independent imaginary authors and their original universes, I will have with me The Cycles of Eriane by Chris Wood (5 books), as well as the collector's edition of Lonely Hearts by Coline Dumas. Guaranteed emotions!
