Les Éditions Callidor & Aux forges de Vulcain reunited at Trolls & Légendes 2026

On the occasion of the Trolls & Légendes 2026 fair, les Éditions Callidor et les Éditions Aux forges de Vulcain bring together their worlds and their passion for the imaginative at booth E33. Come discover the richness of their catalogues
Les Éditions Callidor
« The past no longer illuminating the future, the spirit walks in darkness. »
It is with this idea in mind, formulated by Alexis de Tocqueville, that les éditions Callidor established themselves in the publishing landscape in 2011. Wishing to rehabilitate the Grands Anciens of speculative literature, the house offers to (re)discover their foundational works, forgotten treasures, neglected or unavailable for too long.
Flirting with genres, Callidor's main idea is to offer other readings, or rather another editorial gaze, thrown over literature's shoulder, to better grasp its diversity.
At Trolls & Légendes, we will showcase our two main collections, « L'Âge d'or de la fantasy » et « Collector », which rehabilitate the pioneers of fantasy for the first, and the great classics for the second. Two collections all clad in gilt and enriched with numerous illustrations that are sure to charm lovers of collectible books.
Les Éditions Aux forges de Vulcain
Les Éditions Aux forges de Vulcain were born in 2010. They publish novels of general and speculative literature, from here and elsewhere. They have chosen to place themselves under the figure of Vulcain.
According to legend, Vulcain forged the shield of Mars, the trident of Neptune, the chariot of Apollo. In the assembly of the gods, he is certainly neither the strongest nor the most handsome; but because he gave others the means of their power, he is the most necessary.
Les Éditions Aux forges de Vulcain patiently forge the tools of tomorrow. They produce texts. They do not believe in genius, they believe in work. They do not believe in the solitude of the artist, but in the mutual benevolence of craftsmen. They hope to please and to instruct. They wish to change the face of the world.
At Trolls & Légendes, we will give pride of place to our speculative fiction catalogue and we will be fortunate to have alongside us Claire Duvivier and Guillaume Chamanadjian, auteurices of the francophone fantasy phenomenon cycle, la Tour de Garde, Julia Colin, author of Avant la forêt and of her new novel Passer la brume, as well as Dari Gatti, the talented artist who illustrated the complete editions Capitale du Sud and Capitale du Nord, and Julia Colin's new novel.
