Aidan Fox Editions

My name is Aidan Fox and I am a fantasy writer in all its forms! I have already published an epic fantasy saga set in an underground world, featuring a heroine on a quest for revenge who learns dark magic; a steampunk story based on water magic and vehicle racing, a dark fantasy where demons seek to escape from Hell, and an Eastern fantasy in an aerial world, between sands and clouds, set against a backdrop of music and air magic! Each saga is independent of the others but takes place in the same world, and the attentive reader can understand the connections that bind them between the lines... this is how I build my macro-universe! I am passionate about bringing it to life, and I have been developing it for a few years in new formats: drawings, illustrated books, bestiaries, role-playing games, and even card games like Hearthstone! My writing is inspired by references such as Pierre Bottero (Ellana, Ewilan), Moorcock, or Lovecraft (for the darker texts), as well as Damasio (for the more poetic and philosophical). As for the universes, they draw their inspiration from our great pop culture universes, from Warcraft to Final Fantasy, including D&D and Warhammer!

I started my career as an author nearly ten years ago. After numerous crowdfunding campaigns, many more fairs and conventions, and an editorial approach that even included distribution in bookstores, I am finally settling down at the Trolls et Légendes festival, which I have never participated in before due to... geographical reasons! I hope to see many of you there!
