The Art of Metal with ARS FABRA

Dive into the secrets of medieval goldsmithing, whether secular or religious. Under the kindly eye of Maistre Etienne, discover ancestral techniques, from cuttlebone casting to alchemy, and leave with a piece shaped by your own hands.

  • Les Petits Orfèvres (From 7 years old) : Try your hand at repoussé chasing. On a sheet of gold-colored metal, learn to give relief to your dreams by following the gestures of the old masters.
  • Les Petits Sertisseurs (From 10 years old) : Learn the delicate art of setting a gemstone on a pewter pendant. A precision workshop to adorn your costumes with the most beautiful gleams.
  • Demonstrations & Knowledge : Between two hammer blows, let yourself be told the history of costume, the etymology of Old French and the mysteries of gemology.

The Softness of Wool with Volyuta

Travel back in time to the origins of textiles with wool felting, a technique practiced since time immemorial.

  • Flash Workshop : In just 5 minutes, children can felt their own bracelet from colored wool. They leave with their creations
  • The Selfie Corner : For an immediate dose of joy, try on some "tightrope-walker" hats! Elves, court jesters, mages or sprites... Find the headpiece that will reveal your true nature.

  • Construction Workshops (From 7 years old) : Join a group of builders to erect wizard towers, medieval fortifications, troll lairs or wooded shelters for elves.
  • Objective : Use recycled materials to create a worthy refuge for the little characters that populate our imagination.

Does the world of the bagpipes intrigue you? Piper's Phil opens the doors of his musical world.

  • Initiation : Don't just listen, come and try! You'll have the rare opportunity to blow into the instrument and draw your first epic notes from it.
  • The Phil Mystery : One question remains... Into what character will Piper's Phil transform this year? The answer can only be found by stopping by his workshop...
