The aisles thrummed with music, laughter, encounters, discoveries and emotions. Then, as every year, everything happened very quickly: dismantling, packing up, cleaning, closing the doors... and suddenly, silence.
An almost strange calm after months of preparation.
Because Trolls & Légendes means three days out of time for the public, but it is also, behind the scenes, months of work, doubts, unexpected events, fatigue... and that stress that builds as the festival approaches. Will the visitors be there? Will everything go well? Will we be on track, including financially?
And every year, or almost, we tell ourselves at the end of the preparation: "Never again.", "This is the last one.", "Too old for this nonsense."
Then the festival arrives.
And there are your smiles. Your laughter. Your awestruck looks. There are reunions, discoveries, costumes, music, encounters. There is this unique interlude that comes to life. And we immediately remember why we do it.
The theme of this edition, "From Shadow to Light", resonates particularly strongly today. Because it also tells what happens behind the scenes: months in the shadows, quiet work, tension, then the light of the stages, the looks, the shared moments.
Over the weeks, and then in the intensity of the festival, a true chain of solidarity formed between organizers, volunteers, artists, artisans, guests and visitors. Everyone came to contribute their part to this somewhat crazy, but so precious, human adventure.
So today, we simply wanted to say thank you.
Thank you to our visitors, loyal or new, for coming in such numbers.
Thank you to all the volunteers, who give without counting.
Thank you to the organizers, the author·s, musician·s, artisan·s, host·s, exhibitor·s, technician·s and to all those who keep the soul of the festival alive.
We can already tell you that attendance was even better than in previous years, and that moves us greatly. On the accounting side, we are still finalizing the reports, but the early signs are positive. That's reassuring for the future of this festival we love so much.
We have also launched a satisfaction survey: your feedback is valuable to help us improve the festival further. Please don't hesitate to respond.
And because the magic also continues through memories, we have started sorting the weekend's photos. You can already find the first shots from our team of photographers on this page.
One week on, the tiredness is still here. The silence too.
But above all what remains is the essential: the gratitude, the light you left behind... and already the desire to start again.
